ELF Convention 2027 | Estoril, Portugal
FROM KEYS TO CONNECTED SECURITY
The evolution of locksmithing. The future of security.
Dear Colleagues, Partners and Friends,
On behalf of APECSS, the Portuguese Locksmith Association (Associação Portuguesa de Empresas de Chaves e Sistemas de Segurança), it is a great pleasure to welcome you to the ELF Convention 2027, taking place in Estoril, Portugal, from 3 to 5 June 2027.
Almost ten years after the successful ELF Convention we hosted in Porto in 2018, we are proud to welcome the international locksmith and security community back to Portugal. Once again, we look forward to bringing together professionals, manufacturers, distributors and representatives of industry associations, not only from across Europe, but from around the world.
Our profession has changed significantly over the years. Traditional keys and locks remain at the heart of what we do, but our industry now reaches far beyond them. Smart locks, electronic access control, automotive key programming and connected security solutions are becoming an increasingly important part of our everyday business.
This evolution is at the heart of ELF 2027 and its theme, “From Keys to Connected Security.” We want to celebrate the knowledge, skills and experience that have shaped our profession, while embracing new technologies, innovation and the opportunities that lie ahead.
The Convention begins on 3 June with a Welcome Reception, offering the perfect opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, make new contacts and enjoy an informal evening together. On 4 and 5 June, the Convention and exhibition will bring together conference sessions, live demonstrations and technical workshops, before we conclude on Saturday evening with our traditional Gala Dinner.
Above all, our ambition is to make ELF 2027 a truly international meeting point for our professional community. A place where people from different countries and backgrounds can exchange knowledge, discover new solutions, create business opportunities and strengthen the relationships and trust that have always been so important to our profession.
I am confident that Estoril will provide the perfect setting to bring our global community together and make this Convention an important milestone for the future of our industry.
I look forward to welcoming you to Portugal in June 2027.
Ricardo Jardim
Chairman – ELF 2027 Organising Committee
President – APECSS
Vice-President – European Locksmith Federation
